Gulu district

Pastor Erick Okello is the Lead Pastor of CROSS PURPOSE CHURCH Uganda currently located in Gulu; a city in the northern part of Uganda. Pastor Erick is married to Mrs. Dorcas Okello and is currently with two children.

He grew up from Lira District and came to Gulu in 2009 to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business administration in Gulu University. During his days in the University, he discovered the call of God after an encounter with the Lord while for Campus Christian mission and that ignited his passion to win souls and teach the word. 

While finalizing with the University, he heard the Lord ask him not to go back to Lira but stay in Gulu until he receives another word. While in Gulu, in May 2012 the Lord directed him to join a Pentecostal church for grooming into the work of the ministry.

Pastor Erick is self-motivated to do the work of the Lord with great passion for he knows who has called him. His vision is to equip the church and prepare a movement of people who are very aggressive in soul winning, missions and evangelism. And along his service in ministry, he discovered the need to deal with errors in doctrine and manipulation.

He also went to ISCG (International School of Christian Growth) and DTS (Disciple Training School with CAPRO missions.
